Watch Netflix & Tv Networks with Tvpn

If you have an internet connection that is 2Mbps or higher (go to www.speedtest.net to find out), we can help you to access your Netflix account or view ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and many others. With our system, you can connect through your existing internet connection and reconnect through our servers in the US, giving you access to all the English language content and show and movie sites that you'd be able to get in the US. We offer a couple of different options depending on if you just want to connect one device (tablet or pc) or if you would prefer to have this connection available throughout your home. To connect one device we charge $7 per month and $25 to install it. If you want the signal throughout your home, we provide a pre-configured router that will allow you to connect any wi-fi or wired device - Tablet, Pc, Mac, Phone, Smart Tv, Dish receiver. This option is a little more money but is super easy to use and you don't have to install any software! Please visit our website if you would like more info - www.mytvpn.com

www.mytvpn.com
Website worked for me. Now, who is successfully using this service and since they install, will they come to my boat in the marina in La Paz and install?

dtbushpilot - 11-7-2013 at 05:27 PM

I have it, works fine, not sure why they wouldn't install it in your boat, give them a call....

Here we go again

This is simply a router that uses a modified firmware DD-WRT. With DD-WRT and overplay.net, you can do the same thing for 5 bucks a month. www.overplay.net

I have been using the Buffalo DD-WRT from Amazon and it works great.
The other thing that you can do is watch BBC TV as if you were in the UK.

can someone give me an "idiots guide" explanation of this?

chuckie - 11-8-2013 at 05:41 AM

I already get netflix with just my regular Telmex internet connection. Very satisfactory. I got to the website, but found no mention there of being able to connect with US networks? And standard fees apply for netflix etc. in addition to the fee quoted in the post...so?

You are getting Mexico Netflix, and yes, there is a difference.

Trust me, you are not and idiot, it is a techies way to watch US services, such as, Amazon, Hulu and Netflix, and listen to Pandora, Rhapsody and so on from US services.

Each internet service has an address, kind of like a phone number, that has particular information in it that tells servers that you are in Mexico, USA etc.

These "open" firmware routers do a bit of spoofing. It is known as VPN (Virtual Private Network) or in the case of Overplay.net, it is called SuperDNS, different than VPN, but much faster than VPN.

By placing the router in front of all of your devices hardwired or WiFI, looks like you are located in the USA, allowing USA providers to send you movies, music etc.
