Back in the 70s my sisters and I would go cruising on Ruiz Ave. on Saturday nights with my teenage cousins. Bumper to bumper traffic, lots of horns
honking and teens flirting. It was called "Ruizando." We thought it was great fun and a good way to pass the time.
Later, as an adult, I always avoided Ruiz on Saturday nights for those same reasons: traffic gridlock and too much noise!

I see a few cars that are late 30s/ early 40s near the intersection but most are from the 20s.
