Remember all the smog requirments, Jim. I would imagine the equipment has been removed.
That car would cost at least a thousand bucks to import into Mexico today. It would be a shame to throw that away.

It is a nice-looking 2001 model. Not a Rubicon model - which didn't come onto the scene until Fall 2002 as an '03 model and sold in limited numbers

What is this "smog equipment" you are referring to? I see this generic term thrown a lot with old timers down here. Are you referring to the catalytic
converter? Removing that provides a negligible performance and greatly reduces the resale value of the vehicle in America. It's also a crappy thing to

Photo in the ad he posted shows the word RUBICON. But, that was added to the side of the Jeep, as that's not a factory sticker or factory painted on
word... the factory lettering doesn't even look like that. As Ken Cooke posted, a Rubicon Jeep didn't exist in 2001.
