Heading to Gonzaga thanksgiving - not sure about hauling my double kayak down on my 4 cylinder RAV4 - are there any kayak rentals or is someone
interested in renting theirs? Does not have to be for the whole time - we'll be there thurs to Sunday - hope to meet some like minded Baja campers
40-60 years to have a beer with - I'll be camping with a small group at Rancho Grandemcfez - 11-19-2013 at 07:21 AM
There are no rentals. In fact....I have never seen a kayak rental in San Felipe as well.
To take your kayak would be an grand idea to do! There are a million spots between Puertecitos and San Luis Gonzaga that offers great adventure. To
transport.......it is a easy ride since the highway upgrade.
Use a life jacket! Also....This time of the year it is very windy down there. Take wind shelter (tarps-tie downs for tents).

We hauled 2 sea kayaks on our jeep from San Felipe to Gonzaga no problem even when the road wasn't finished.David K - 11-19-2013 at 06:01 PM

You can try and ask either Alfonsina's or Campo Beluga, just 2 miles south... Here are their cards:
Bahia San Luis Gonzaga is quite sheltered... the bigger half of the overall area (Ensenada de San Francisquito) is more exposed to wind... Have a
great time... and it is paved to nearly Papa Fernandez' driveway.

I was at Campo Beluga a few weeks ago and they defiantly do not have any but Raphael seemed pretty keen on having a couple on hand in the next few
months.
We'll see.Beachnsportslvr - 11-22-2013 at 12:01 AM
