When You're Hungry In Villa Insurgentes

Ask for Restaurant Guadalajara.

When passing through the large dining room, marvel at the WOODEN Carta Blanca furniture. It'll take you back several decades. Traditional Mexican dishes. No speak de Ingles.

OK DavidE, I Will "Bite"

Where is Villa Insurgentes? We are always on the lookout for a good meal.

About 10 miles north of Cd. Constitucion. Headed NORTHBOUND look for a very wide divided street with center island with trees. It used to be dirt. Turn and go up around 3/4 mile while demarcating your right. When you see a large ferreteria, you're getting close to the cross street. Turn RIGHT. The guadalajara is sort of hidden past a blocking wall but it'll be on your right. Keep going till you see it.

Superb traditional fare. This'll take you back in time.

Ciudad Insurgentes. Where one makes a 90 degree turn to head toward Loreto. Well stocked store at the Pemex by that turn. But no alcohol sales in this town on Sundays.

And there is a Ley Express just across the street.

Called 'Ciudad Insurgentes' on the AAA map... Just like Constitucion, it used to be a Villa before it grew into a Ciudad!

:lol::lol: I would rather look for good eats in Insurgentes than in Vizcaino. Vizcaino for me, after many years, is a fuel stop, and maybe a beer stop. Just my opinion.
