Storing car in Loreto

gallesram - 11-26-2013 at 06:04 PM

I am interested in storing my car in Loreto for the summer, preferably close to the airport. I have seen the mini storage on the airport road but don't know much about it and the owners haven't returned my e-mails. I'm planning to use the car when I fly down to Loreto from LA between April & November, so I'd drive it down in April, use it during the summer when I'm down (probably once/month) & then return to California in November. Covered parking would be best. Anyone with ideas/experience please chime in; would appreciate your suggestions.

Loreto Storage is the outfit on the road to the Loreto airport. Owned by Ron & Wendy, Canadiens who live in Loreto. I've never stored a car there, but know many who have - and always heard good reports. Covered and uncovered, full-time security, I think they'll even pick you up at the airport. I have their business card from a few years ago: email address is info@loretostorage.com , and cell is 044-613-104-3630. Good luck.

Sounds like that's the place to use; thanks for the input (and the number ElCap; I'll give them a call).

Ron and Wendy are good people, long time Loretanos.

If we were looking for storage this is who we would call.

Spoke to Ron this morning; seems like a good guy. They have exactly what I need so I'll sign up in April. Thanks Nomads; appreciate the feedback!

Ron and Wendy have a really great facility, I was a tenant with a garage unit for a year and a half while our home was being built.

Their velador (watchman) lives on premises and is a pleasure to deal with.

The other convenience was that I was able to pay my monthly rent while I was in the US by depositing into Wendy's Bank of America account.
