Came accross this article referenced for the tax increase in mining net profits to 7 !/2 % in Mexico.

I hope this means that they are eliminating the IETU tax.
Not entirely sure, but it looks to me like Pres Nieto is a rich man's tax buddy, the congress a bit less so, but both are looking aggressively to get
more new tax revenue from the bottom and middle class than from the upper income people. No surprise there.

According to this article/newsletter, yes, the IETU is going to be eliminated.
