I got stuck years ago with a CJ6, a vehicle hard to bog down, north of Las Barrancas. Surface looks perfect, but when the vehicle sinks through that
surface crust, you're in for a battle.
We have some spots like that north of Loreto on the sea, where I almost got stuck with a 4wd Suburban. Nasty stuff!!
