December is early for moms/calves. The Solo males tend to arrive first, moms w/babies later, but you never know for sure.
San Ignacio still offers camping and panga tours. Kuyima typically charges $8-10/night for camping space, with basic amenities +has affordable meals
in a nice dining lodge. 3 hr tours are about $45. These rates fluctuate annually.
There's also panga operators and camping at Scammons lagoon/ojo de liebre national park. Not sure of prices there.
