I have been using some new digital equipment underwater recently after many years of using film. I am pretty astounded with the results, and have
posted some of my images on my website. Most of these photos are not from Baja (one is) but I put a lot of technical information on the page for
those who might be interested. The link is

Ken, these are great! Really like the colors. So, what is your take on film -vs- digital now?

Bob H - I am a digital convert!

For the type of photography I do (I think they call it a serious amateur!) I doubt that I will ever use film again. While film might hold a slight
edge in quality, it is so subtle that most people don't notice it. Seeing an image immediately after making it is invaluable, particularly underwater
where you don't get that many chances. Plus now I can take a virtually unlimited amount of images on a single dive - with film I am limited to 36. I
can make 13"x19" digital prints with my Epson Stylus 2000 printer that are indistiguishable from a photographic print. All in all, I am completely
sold on digital. It is just so much fun it should be illegal!
