Nothing felt here in my part of San Diego.
I'm looking at Baja Almanac, pg 3.
Wonder if it is related to the Large active faultline northwest of this area, Responsible for creating the Santo Tomas Valley and Punta Banda split?bajaguy - 12-19-2013 at 10:57 PM
It's been downgraded to 4.6 but was quite shallow and, if my FB is anything to go by, was felt as far away as San Luis R.C.
USGS: Good site but no MX faults shown SOB

You can see major faults along border, in San Diego area and east of the escarpment/uplift between Tecate and Mexicali, but nothing south.

Here's a good fault line map of Northern Baja California, including the Santo Thomas Valley/Punta Banda split

Very close to Valle de Trinidad... I think AstroBaja (Baja Dark Skies Inn) is the closest Nomad? I hope his telescopes are okay!Larana - 12-20-2013 at 09:12 AM

Thank you Mike... The officials are blaming this Dec. 19 quake for the land slide under Hwy. 1-D yesterday... and rain (yah it's been hot and dry last
several days).
