I was on the new todos santos bypass soooo nice,
then as I arrived in Cabo outskirts noticed a similar design of a road being graded to the east before you hit the mess. Could be just for a
subdivion. But (wishful thinking) could be a (rumor) cut through to COSTO or that general area to relieve the disaster Cabo is.. (because of the
road improvement it took 5 traffic light changes to make the turn to costco.
In the far distance over a mountain I could see what appeared to be a road being graded in the middle of it that would be in line with such a bypass.
This distant cut through several miles away so could not tell what it really is, was due east so was not veering north to the airport at that point.
I really was not paying real close attention to it because I was caught off guard.
again pure rumor and speculation till someone chimes in with real facts.

According to Gringo Gazette: It will be a new road from north of San Lucas to SJD airport. It is apparently going to be a toll road. Locals are not
optimistic it will remove much local traffic.
