Ken, how about a photo note (date/ source)? I am going to guess about 1960?
That was a small lagoon at the foot of the ice plant hill, that flooded on the lunar high tides and a natural dry dock to work on boats! See that
chute going left off the photo? That was how blocks of ice were loaded onto the shrimp boats.
