Hola Nomads, Since we're now in the middle of the Season of Giving, I thought I would hit you all up for donations. The Club Rotario La Balandra of La
Paz will hold it's two week long spring clinic in February and March of 2014. This clinic provides Orthotic and Prosthetic systems (orthopedic braces
and artificial limbs) to the people of Mexico who otherwise could not get these services. Dr. Alejandro Aguirre Chavez is a Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation Doctor in La Paz who acts as "gatekeeper" for the patient population requiring our services. The patients that we see are without means
of obtaining needed limbs or braces, and these systems are provided to all patients at no cost.
Interested parties can make donations to:
San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church (SRVUMC)
Limb Restoration Fund
902 Danville Blvd.
Alamo, CA. 94507
tax ID# 94-1562109
100% of these donations go directly to the purchase of parts and supplies for the clinic, there are no administrative fees nor are there any other
hidden fees. The church will provide a receipt for tax purposes.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. Paul Boe
