A large pod of Humpback whales just frollicked near my beach here in La Ribera. They were just a couple hundred meters from the beach moving south. So
close I heard one solid tail splash.
When we see them this time of year they are at the end of their counter clockwise loop up and around the SOC and now they'll be moving back out into
the Pacific --- this morning people close to shore all the way around the cape might catch them at their antics.
