Hola amigos,
I've been living in Playas for 3 months now, I cross the border every day for work. Gracias a Dios por SENTRI. I furnished a very nice (but
inexpensive) view apartment above the cuota with things brought from the US or that I made myself in MX.
I am "3 and out" meaning 3 more years to work before retirement. I am sampling the life south of the border before I go farther down. I love Baja, I
like exploring, I love living in Playas. I know TJ pretty well. My novia knows it real well as she is a born tijuanese. I will soon "have both feet
in Baja" when I move my sailboat to Ensenada.
I have a lot to learn, even so close to the border that I can basically kick a futbol over the fence. I plan to get my novia a BCC and myself started
on the MX FM-x process.
She's a historian and I love history too and we plan to do things like drive south and visit the Mission sites. She speaks very good English and I
have medium Spanish.
So I'm just saying "Hola" here and looking forward to learning more.

Hello! Welcome!!
We have several history loving Nomads besides myself! Historian-author Dr. Robert Jackson is 'academicanachist' here on Nomad... a few more of us
wrote books containing Baja history, too... including: 'gregn' (Baja Legends), 'Graham' (Journey with a Baja Burro, Nearer my Dog to Thee, etc.), and
me (The Old Missions of Baja & Alta California, soon available in Spanish).
