Him: "Where are my car keys?"
Me: "I don't know - you drove into town yesterday to get the mail and our gifts, look inside the car."
Him: "The car is locked."
Me: "Look on your desk."
Time goes by, the car alarm has been going off for more than an hour, then there is quiet.
Later, Him: The car keys surfaced."
Me: "Great, where were they?
Him: "Crickets."
Me: "Oh, they were on your desk?"
Him: "Crickets."
