SENTRI Vehicle Add

Applied to SENTRI-fy my new truck once I got the plates; one day shy of two months later, I got the conditional approval letter (yesterday). Miraculously, there were a slew of appointments today at Otay, and the next available date was 1/27, so off I went. Took about an hour after I arrived, then a few questions from the same lady who did my initial interview, and a truly cursory examination of my (empty down to the change holder) truck. They were looking for tinted windows and to make sure the windshield was in place and whole. Done and done. I had my approval notification from GOES before I even hit Siempre Viva Rd.

The folks in the office are nice and pleasant; I'm assuming the 2-month delay is CBP re-checking to make sure I hadn't had any run-ins with the law or the border field officers since my last interaction.

It's official; no more stickers. I was told I could take off my sticker if I still had it, and to use Goo-Gone and rubbing alcohol to remove the residue.
