Short waits on Sunday... wait, what??

dasubergeek - 12-29-2013 at 07:12 PM

It's 6 p.m. on a Sunday, and here are the CBP-reported border wait times:

San Ysidro: 30 standard, 15 ready, 0 SENTRI, 60 pedestrian
Otay Mesa: 40 standard, 15 ready, 0 SENTRI, 15 pedestrian
Tecate: 20 standard, 0 pedestrian

...where the [CENSORED] is everybody?! It was like this last weekend too! I mean, not that I'm complaining, because this is how it OUGHT to be, but I feel like the other shoe is going to drop here.

Well it took me 45 minutes to cross @ Tecate about 8:30 AM today (Sunday).
My cousin crossed today (Sunday) around 4PM in the Otay Ready Lane--- wait time for him was 8 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!

SENTRI this evening was only a few minutes and the regular line looked very short as well. I think a lot of people are staying south for the holiday week. Sure wish I was!
