Alternate Routes To Ensenada - Video and Photos

BajaGeoff - 1-15-2014 at 01:10 PM

After the toll road collapsed a few weeks ago, there were many folks who believed that it was no longer possible to get to Ensenada and beyond. In light of that, we created both video and photo guides of the two most direct routes to get to Ensenada so you can familiarize yourself if you have never driven either.

Fun stuff and good job!

Baja's mission sites may make a fun video for the ones you can drive to (all but 2)?!

The Hwy. 1 video has you passing Mission San Miguel, which you can see from the highway (that's how the town of La Mision got its name).

The Hwy. 3 video didn't show the paved junction into the town of Francisco Zarco (Guadalupe), but the last California mission (Guadalupe, from which the wine valley got its name) is just a mile down the paved side road.

I like your "Viva Baja" at the end, too! ;)

Thank you Geoff!
