So I bumped into a police roadblock on the East Cape road today being manned by the Policia Ministerial of La Ribera.
It was about two miles out of La Ribera in the middle of nowhere.
I was aked to show vehicle registration.
"Raicer de rally?
No?
OK. Catorce. Passale."
I saw a prerunner on an offroad bike reaching for his wallet.
What a great moneymaker for the cops.
Tons of racers without plates.
Wonder if they'll do it on race day....
