Spent 5 days over the T-day holiday at Alofonsinas in Gonzaga Bay. Most of the time was spent emptying beer cans and just flat out relaxing over a
good book, a lazy game of dominos or in-depth studies of the back of our eye lids!
Did manage to spend a few hours each day slinging krocs and fish traps from the shore line from the mouth of the back bay behing Alfonsinas on over to
P Final.
Wide open Pompano bite on the front side of the incoming and outgoing tides. Caught em on virtually every cast to the point of fatigue from fighting
so many of the razor fiined little critters on light tackle.
Also caught several pez gallo and a couple of flatties along with some surf perch and a few unknowns.
Weather was just about perfect except for the last day when a northerlie kicked up.
The last 15 miles of the paved road from SF to Puertocitos is in very bad shape, its not really a road, its a pot hole with an occasional patch of
pavement! Once past Puertocitos the road is so so for the first half and full speed ahead (45-50mph) for the last 25-30 miles or so.
Took approxiametly 10 hours both ways from SD, stopping along the way for about an hour to change a flat (2) and to refuel (us and the car!).
Damn...gotta go to work! C-ya!
got a gas report?

In my reply under the Jan. Pemex price post by BajaNomad, I mentioned that on Sunday, the Pemex at Gonzaga was open... I bought 200 pesos of Magna. I
think that was the only grade they had.
Good seeing you again YIM!
