He just stopped by with a load of petates and date palm trellises.
He has diabetes and is using a cane. One of his grandsons is driving.
It has been a couple of years since we have seen him and I know that he is one of your friends too. I thought that you would be interested to know
that he is back on the road...different truck...black.
We made him happy!

We also had a sighting here in Pescadero! Always upbeat and smiling. Indeed, he has a health issue but was clearly happy to be on the road again.

Thanks for the report Bajajudy! Glad to hear he's still getting around. Such a nice guy and the hardest working man in the petate business. He must
have put 100 zillion miles on that old blue truck. Glad you mentioned it- I'll look for a black truck cuz we'll be needing more tallos soon.
