Watch out for text charges from AT&T

On our last cellular phone bill we got charged for $57 for about 30 text roaming messages while we were driving to Alfonsina's from Mexicali/Calexico. We did not send or receive any of those messages and some were charged after we had arrived at Alfonsina's which is 100 miles from the nearest cell tower....can't happen. But it couldn't happen in any case because we don't use text messaging anywhere .....here in Goofafornia or there.

AT&T removed the charges (after a 40 minute wait on the phone and for a slow service rep to get the job done). But you should take a close look at texting charges if you use AT&T.

We have noticed that every time we cross the border AT&T sends us a text message to tell us that we can do all kinds of good stuff in Mexico with our iPhones.....BUY, BUY ,BUY!
