I know that a few of you have been waiting for this. The book 'Where the Old West Never Died' has been republished. The book was published in 1968 and
never printed again, until now. It’s been out of print far too long. This is a Soft-cover or paperback version, not the original hardback. It contains
all of the picture and text from the original book and looks as near as possible to the 1968 version. We are offering it for sale at both of the
Meling guest ranches or from me. If you would like to buy a copy of this book please email me at chuckmccullough@iwon.com. The total cost of the book
is $20, if mailed to a US address. Please send your check or money order to:
Chuck McCullough
2871 Carl Dr.
Hemet, CA 92545
Please include the address that you’d like the book mailed to.DENNIS - 2-22-2014 at 06:09 PM
I had that book, a hardback, but it vanished. Come to think of it, I'm not sure where my checkbook is. I'll find it and send you one, Chuck.
Thanks.
An excellent book!

To read the way it was for the Meling Ranch family in the early part of the 1900's is quite a story...
Thank you Chuck for keeping it alive!DENNIS - 2-22-2014 at 06:43 PM

I won it in a bet last time we played cards, don't you remember Dennis?
If you have Greg Niemann's 'Baja Legends', go to page 134 to read a similar story how the Meling Ranch was obtained by Harry Johnson...
