Yesterday, I pulled up to the gate and said, "Lo siento, tengo solo poquito cambio!"
He replied, "No, problema, senora."
Then I handed him a literal handful of coins - ten centavos, mostly.
He laughed and counted them and said that I owed eight pesos more.
I scrounged around in my purse and found the rest of the toll money.

It's a good thing you were female...they would have called the PD on a male!

Funny, how they don't like people giving them change but they usually give me all dollar bills in change if I give them a $20 bill.
