We are trailering a 29 regulator down. We would like to launch from Santa Rosalia or Mulege. Any input would be most appreciatedPescador - 3-4-2014 at 07:22 AM
The best ramp in the area is the concrete ramp at San Bruno. The ramp at Santa Rosalia was washed out on the last hurricane, there is not much grade
at Mulege. Chivato is a possibility but you would need to haul the boat down 10- miles of hell first.chuckie - 3-4-2014 at 09:29 AM
The ramp on the NORTH side of the river in Mulege MIGHT handle it if the tide was right....Hook - 3-4-2014 at 10:43 AM

You'll be watching conditions & traffic on the Baja Road, Cappy.
I've been on a buddy's' 2007 29' Regulator in Florida. A roomy CC. The beam was 9'6". Draft was about 2 ft. Real pleasure to fish from. With twin
Y250's, it was a tank...a fast tank.
Like Pescador said, I think you'll find San Bruno to be the best ramp for that size and draft. And I wouldn't want to beat up my trailer & boat
on the sometimes rough road into Punta Chivato.
I have launched a 28ft at the south Mulege ramp before...but only at highest tides. Draft can be a problem there until it is dredged. Long, tough
road to the other north side Mulege ramp.Cappy - 3-5-2014 at 03:36 AM
Gracias for all the input. I am not the one doing the trailering, so don't know beam. I am only involved in delivery from the time it hits the water
to Cabo. They are paying a professional from La Paz to do the road portion. I would guess 9'6" would be close. Nomads are the greatest, thanks againchuckie - 3-5-2014 at 05:20 AM
Roger, FYI The road to the North ramp is the best it has ever been, new fill, graded often, potholes filled....aguachico - 3-5-2014 at 08:47 AM
