Thanks Udo, I am writing a more detailed history of all 27 Spanish/Mexican missions on the peninsula... originally for her blog, but Jennifer Kramer
(editor) has been putting them into the newsletter as well.
The blog has published up to #12 (San José del Cabo) so far and I am now working on #20 (Santo Domingo). Our book (The Old Missions of Baja & Alta
California, 1697-1834) has one page of data and one page of photos for each of the 48 California missions... There is often more interesting data than
can fit on one page!
Perhaps these Discover Baja articles will make up a future book, and you all get a free preview?!
