@#$%^&!

Get a blender.

Puré a few chunks of pimienta dulce, bell pepper. Add jarabe de Madrileña which comes in a vodka-like bottle but is sugar syrup. KARO will also work. Mix with the pureed bell pepper. Empty the n-a-s-t-y vinegar out of the pickle jar. Rinse once with pure drinking water. Refill with water add the slop from the blender, screw the lid on and wait a day or four.

Nothing fouler than vinegar pickles except maybe adding a shot of log cabin syrup to a Pacifico.

No gherkins in Mexico, I've looked, what's a peanut butter sandwich without them?

We can almost always find sweet relish which works great in potato salad.;)

There's a market near the east end of Cortez, EL ROBLE. They may even have another in town.
Anyway..they try to develop an expat clientele with an extensive array of hard to find US products, including sweet pickles.
Find this market. You won't care for their inflated prices, but the selection is impressive.

WE shop there all the time, they also have a store in T J if they don't have what you want just tell them and they will get it and call you when it comes in.
Best Eggs and Chicken in town they raise their own, no Steroids.
