About 9 miles south of SR there looks to be an airport and what may have been a way to taxi off the airport to your house. What is it.
I'm just doing Google Earth to look around before I get there.

I think he is referring to the military airstrip, which is on the south end of San Lucas. It is closed and unusable, but still shows on google.
The other airport is more like 15 miles and is south of San Bruno and is called Palo Verde, it is paved and is used for Aero Servicio Guerrero as well
as others. There is a military facility at the airport.

I think both responses are correct. Last year we had a friend fly (from Guymas) into that airport. I don't know what airline it was (8 passenger seat
plane.) The day before his arrival we drove out to see exactly where it was and the military had a "no paso" rope in the middle of the road. I parked
the car and walked over and was told by a soldier that the flight would not arrive until the next day and that at that time I could pull around the
"no paso" sign. On both days there were several (10?) soldiers present and it looked like they were using one of the buildings for a barracks? I
believe there were only two incoming and outgoing flights a week but not sure.

Here's a couple photos of the Palo Verde/Santa Rosalia airport.
We've landed there in both commercial (Guaymas) and private aircraft. (180 and 310). It's more than 9 miles south of Sta. Rosalia, though. The OP
may be looking at the Army strip nearer ejido San Lucas.

Amazing....you wouldn't think a little Cessna could carry that much fuel?
.

A nice 'pista'..but not much used...so far.
HERE... San Lucas

This was the Santa Rosalia airport for many years. Military used it exclusively after the civil airport was moved first to the mesa behind the town of
Santa Rosalia (a dangerous strip) then finally moved to the Palo Verde airport between Hwy. 1 and Punta Chivato.

The last post with photos shows it correct. There is a military base 9 miles from St Rosalia, next to Ejido San Lucas and across from the town of San
Lucas. The runway is in the middle of the base, you can't go there and I haven't heard or seen any aircraft landing there for long time, commercial or
other.
The base, however, is alive and kicking, you can hear their marching drills most every day. I think this is where c-ckroaches come from.

Is an army/marine training post.

Yes San Lucas was what I was looking at. It looked abandoned but usable.
Thanks to all for the info.

Nice wide, nearly mile long runway... and when you land there, I am sure you will get ALL SORTS of special attention!
