Made a quick run into town to get milk and eggs before sundown.
The family that owns the store had three dogs out on the street, stretching their legs and then, noses down. exploring and ignoring everybody else.

Growing up, our nearest neighbor had a Weimaraner that was a superb bird dog. Helped in many group hunts for sharptail, partridges, and pheasants.
Great dispositions. Love their eyes that turn from blue as puppies to yellow as adults.
