The visibility today was almost zero for a couple of sections along Mex 1. Large sandstorms resulted in some very bad accidents. If you are heading
that way tomorrow check with the police to see if the conditions are safe. Two semi's had a head on at one accident site.

Ribbonslinger- Important stuff. Thanks for taking the time to report up-to-the-minute driving conditions.

Good info Slinger. In bad weather like yesterday big rigs and others should pull off the roads. Glad I was safely at home listening to the Palm
trees blow. Hope you arrived safely. Tio

I was on my way to san Ignacio the day of the sandstorm. The visibility between La Bocana and Abreojos was nil. I took my time and probably took
twice as long to drive it but better safe than sorry.

There was a fun side to it. BajaRat and I got the landsailer onto the right part of the beach and got some good rides after the wind calmed a little
bit. A guy was following in a truck and said I got up to 45 mph on this run.
At the end of the day I got to sail all the way home! Good fun. Here's BajaRat's Tecate influenced (un-edited) video.
