Representatives from various media California, United States, toured various tourist areas of Ensenada , convened by the City , in order to counteract the negative effect caused by the collapse of a section of the scenic road Tijuana- Ensenada.

Chico Mayor Gilberto Hirata starred in a press conference where he questioned about the safety of the highway, and if the reconstruction would be reliable once open circulation .

The mayor said that the federal agencies in charge of the budget , bidding and geological studies ensure safe road for the next 150 years, but also an alternative route will be built in the area of Low tide that will connect to the free road , if a contingency.

After transmitting a video on tourist attractions related to wine production areas of farming, fishing , power generation , academia and research, asked to carry the message to potential foreign visitors.

" The road is a focus , but before the time scheduled will be able to receive.

Course is communication by way of The Mission to Ensenada, Tecate to Ensenada , San Felipe to Ensenada, and by August will be reported and ready for the holidays vintage " , listed the mayor.

Alfonso Bustamante Anchondo Sides , director of Binational Affairs , the Mayor reported that this strategy of bringing foreign media will be continued for the rest of the year.

What happens at high tide?

As a contingency they should build a few passing lanes on the free road.
