I did do some beach combing while visiting the area, hoping to catch some of the Japanese earthquake crap.
But none of it got there yet.
But it was till a great day to wander the beach.
We did fins one other treasures worth keeping.
Perhaps later this year some of the quake flotsam will start arriving.willardguy - 4-22-2014 at 04:12 PM
we hit it pretty hard and found nothing but crap, but then again, ymmv!StuckSucks - 4-22-2014 at 04:31 PM
When we were there, it was very breezy with sand dunes (created by wind, duh!). Also, as you drive east on the beach, it gets softer the closer you
get to the lagoons - keep your distance in a vehicle. There was mostly Styrofoam and plastic on the beach, but we found some cool fishing floats too.David K - 4-22-2014 at 04:36 PM
Driving on the beach east from the road is iffy as dry sand blows over wet-quick sand in front of arroyo mouths. Neal Johns has a story for you on
this!

If a Mackintosh already went through the booty, can you expect there to be anything remaining? Just a rhetorical question.
