La Paz dog Wash?

BajaBlanca - 4-28-2014 at 05:03 PM

Where can we have Fido bathed? Preferably not too far from the malecon.

And totally off the subject but what the heck...where can I get a pedicure that won't cost me an arm and a leg? I once paid $30 in La Bocana when a new lady showed up in town and I didn't ask how much first. What a sham and the lady is loooong gone.

Thanks.

Blanca, you can get a pedicure with Tanya Jamieson. She also does really nice massage. 612-167-7764 for an appointment. There is also a dogie wash on Hidalgo y Costilla three blocks off the Malecon, just past the cow market (Arumburo Market)

Happy Trails

do people actually pay another to wash their own dog:?::?::?: what's wrong with a bottle of shampoo and a garden hose? or a bottle of shampoo and the hotel shower/bathtub?

I know.....but it is REALLY hot here in La Paz....just don't have the energy to do it and we are ON VACATION,

We certainly wash Rex with the hose back home!

Thanks for the information Sandelfoot! Any idea how much the doggie bath runs?

Hola,,truly a classic shot !! I belive the first store in B.C.S. to import Sonora (range fed) beef (Very good)..when El Cardon was running (RV park) you would run into other folks from there getting The "T-Bones" for dinner...and just down the block is a hidden ISST store...maybe I should not spill the beans on that....mmmmm...I gonna trust enough folks about that one !! funny ,,been to that store (Mercado) 100"s of times and not 1 pic....thanks blanca..just up from the square and church !!!

Don't know about Rex's size, but our little Yorkie was 200 peso's if I remember right.

There is another vet that does washes directly across the street from Chedrui market on Abesolo.

The cost at the aramburo site was 180 pesos and the cost at the other one would have been 200. Now, the lady at the one near Aramburo put on Rex's collar way too tight. I mean, he was stressed, so be aware. Also, we asked for them to check his ears since he has been shaking his head and were told the ears are fine.

We took him to the Vet next door and he said Rex had an ear infection. Two days of drops and the head shaking has stopped. Bliss for him. And us. The visit and meds came to 300 pesos.
