first that much would just rot with one family and would be nasty after a year in storage. In 5 years most states usa will legalize for tax revenue boost. Will mexico follow?

44 tons is 88,000 pounds and the normal weight limit on a big rig trailer is 80,000 pounds. So in perspective, it's only one truck load. I think it's a token seizure. A small fish in a big fish pond.

I'm not in the drug business or an expert in the subject by any means but I am guessing that catching one truck load occasionally is small.

For the border the news is a good distraction. Much more tourist friendly than cartel news or bad cops. Maybe one day we can remove the US plicks from their booths so we can cross with out an hours wait.:bounce:

Sounds like you are not a trucking expert either.
The maximum weight limit for a big rig is 80,000 lb. truck trailer and load combined in the states 88,000 lbs. would be two truck loads.

And on the topic of Legalizing... It seems to be a good idea to me.

The California State Legislature is considering a bill that would tax drivers for every mile they drive. One report said 5 cents a mile. An average 12,000 miles per year would cost $600. in tax at that rate.
