Hey there, Mulege, Chivato, San Bruno types......

We are having the most incredibly hazy day that I can ever remember over here that wasnt directly attributable to blowing dust or moisture. Our humidity is less than 25% and this stuff aint going away. Very far ranging; as far as the eye can see in all directions.

Are you guys getting it over there, too?

Almost like a SoCal inversion layer has set in........

Hmmm, found a new-to-me map on Wunderground; a visibility map and it looks like this condition exists from Kino Bay all the way down to the Loreto area, including the Mulege area.

Visibility around 4-5 miles.

Moved in about sunset last night. Heavy this morning and still visible now. I thought this stiff NE breeze would clear it out by now.

Me, too, although ours is WNW over here.

To quote Rolling Stone magazine writer Greil Marcus; "What is this chit?"

Went in to Loreto this morning and couldn't even see the mountains on MX1. Really hazy. Blowing NE but not clearing up.

It is unusually breezy, and almost hot, almost like a Santa Ana today in San Diego North County.

Smoke from two fires is making it hazy here. First one by La Buffadora and second one up the hill east of Ensenada.
