"For those of you who were lucky enough to know our compadre Dick Kashie while he lived in Rosarito Beach, please join us in honoring his memory at a
Mass to be held Thursday May 15th at 6:00 PM, and a Mass to be held in English on Sunday, May 18th at 9:30 AM at the Church of Our Holy Lady of
Fatima, located a few doors east of Macho Beach.
Richard's altruistic spirit will be sorely missed. His tireless volunteer work on behalf of the Boys and Girls Club was so very special. Our
organization's children, in particular, will never forget his generous Santa Claus alter ego. We hope to see you tomorrow evening to pray on behalf of
our dear and charitable friend."

I think it's a nice gesture to celebrate someone's life. Ceremonies are for the living, and assist with the grieving of the living for someone who
has passed on. The dead have moved on. Whether you think Dick is looking down on all of the nice comments is an entirely other matter, which
evidently you do.
