I made a quick trip to TIJUANA friday ...
I didn't need a VISA ... but I thought I would test the system ... 
I had my BIRTH CERTIFICATE in my pocket but told the guy that I only had my DRIVERS LICENSE on me. I also told him that I was ONLY going to SAN
QUINTIN for 7 days. I asked him that if I am down for this short of a trip ... there would NOT be a charge ....??????
This guy wrote me up a VISA for just 7 days and didn't charge me anything.

we're gonna be thru the border southbound around 12:20am friday morning. is the office open at that time 'o day?

24/7 Go to MAIN office right where walkers cross thru fence southbound.

I saw that little sign in the IMMIGRATION office that you spoke of in an earlier post a few months ago ....
"as of JANUARY 1, 2000 PASSPORTS are needed to get a VISA ...
NO EXCEPTIONS" ....
I thought it was kind of FUNNY .... I got one with a DRIVERS LICENSE ....

.... and if you got a Visa (FMT) an Immigration outpost can take it away and get you a new one >>> please pay 210 pesos @ the next bank
