In a recent thread, someone with a gift of the language, described one of the sounds that ravens will make as "chuckling".
Brilliant!!!
I have heard this many times but had a hard time finding a good description for this sound.
Now....if I could just fix that hole in the soffet and get the starlings out of the attic
Unidentified bird call

Yesterday I kept hearing a bird chirping all day and night. Walked around the house and yard twice and couldn't find where it was coming from. Today I
went into my guest house to get something and the chirping got louder. Sure enough it was the low battery warning on a smoke detector making the
chirping sound. All that chirps does not have feathers

Ravens up here in SD have been very vocal lately!! Must be mating or birthing season!
How Punny :)

The ravens that visit us do not "chuckle"; in fact they don't make any noise at all.
Perhaps they are too busy raiding the bird nests on our cliff and eating their fill of the eggs.
