Spanish-English translation APP for iPad/iPhone

TecateRay - 6-2-2014 at 09:26 AM

Can anyone recommend a good app that will work offline? Most of the ones I have tried need to be online to work and I just want my Spanish-English dictionary in my phone and iPad for anytime.

I used this one for offline, it only does single words, not sentences but I liked it.

Someone recommended Jibbigo to me once and said it would do offline translations, but I didn't really need it all that bad and never really got around to checking it out.

This one does complete paragrahs and/ or articles

I really like Word Magic which was recommended by a BN a few years ago. Although it is spendy, it comes with audio pronunciation and you can set the language for Mexico.

Robert, no link shows up in your post? How do I find this app?

monoloco - 6-2-2014 at 01:51 PM

I have Word Magic Spanish/ English dictionary on my iPod Touch. It's a great app, that gives you complete verb conjugations, regional slang, and even groserias. It's completely self contained so you don't need an internet connection to use it. I highly recommend it!

Just downloaded the app. Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying ad and game strip from the bottom?

That's why paid apps are always better. Bite the bullet and spend the $5 or whatever on Word Magic.
