8 Daze in Baja

woody with a view - 6-15-2014 at 01:41 PM

Just back from 8 daze at our trailer in Bahia de Los Angeles! Weather went from brutally sun-burnt scorching to pleasant and awesome, in that order. Got the outdoor shower plumbed up. Perry Sims, the Yellowtail Whisperer made our day on the water when he rocked 4 big boys. Bia got her 16 pound Halibut and I broke off 3 brutes over two days. Next time.... All in all, it was a pretty good time that went too qiuck!

I had a real good time hanging with Woody and Bia, and meeting a lot of interesting people at Camp Gecko. I had a nice place to park my toys.

You couldn't ask for a nicer guy.

And, our guide Joel was cool too.

Then I got monster land sailing Wednesday PM and Thursday morning!

Good trip.

Bajaboy - 6-15-2014 at 03:56 PM

thanks for handing off the baton around El Pedregroso...catch you when we get back in late July.

Looked like a great time! We were running late, so couldn't drop by. Nice yellows and nice butt! How did the fish finder work?

Hook - 6-15-2014 at 07:57 PM

Fishfinder?

How did that o/b motor work? Was it temperamental?

Fantastic report. Nice to see all your smiling faces. That dog in the first picture looks real familiar. Did he tag along with Perry?

Was nice to meet you Woody. Waited for you to stop by my house but I must have missed you. Thanks again for bringing down that quad battery for me. I'll be heading down next month for some more fishing.

Hi Barb, you probably saw I answered the question on another forum. Canelo looks like the dog in the pictures but he was still being a Bahia Asuncion Perro del Pueblo.

The dog in the pic is Cody. He belongs to Doug.
