Loreto Company or guide recommended

superbusydad - 7-1-2014 at 09:19 AM

My son (9) and I are going to Loreto in late July. I need a good company/ guide/ names who can provide us with a good experience. I have all my own gear, and want to know if my son and I could also snorkel on Carmen/ Dansante too? I would pay more naturally. What are your thoughts and recommendations/ numbers, etc..?

Try Juve and Sara at:

superbusydad....welcome to Baja Nomad!

You'll love the water and sights at this time of year, it will be smoking hot out, but the ocean will be beautiful and warm...lots to do and see!

I will be at my Loreto home from the 18th, u2u me for more information if you choose.

Or, another suggestion...Dolphin Dive Center...my nine year old snorkeling grandson adores Rafael who has introduced him to sea wildlife since he was just four.

I second Juve and Sara, they will arrange anything you want. for individualized tours, they are great.
also check wildloreto.com their catamaran trips are good, you leave from Pto Escondido and snorkel at Danzante, either with a group tour if one is going or for more $ you can charter the boat/captain.

I have not been to Loreto in years, but what is a better underwater viewing experience Carmen or Danzante for snorkel? Give me your advice.

Fishing guide of Company in Loreto

I have received some great advice on San Javier and snorkeling already, and will go fishing 1 day with my wife and son, age 9. I would like a great company, and some recommended guides that will work hard and provide us the best opportunity to be successful. I have all my own fishing gear, and cannot wait to take the wife and kid out on the Sea of Cortez. Please give me some good advice, references, and numbers. Please add any special tackle I may need to enhance our chances. Thanks Mike

Try Baja Big Fish, Pam will do what ever you need to have done, fishing, swimming. There are cheaper but Pam will take care of you, If you want to learn to Fly Fish she'll do that too.

P. S. she is a expat that lives there with her family, she could give you a little beta about the place.

As you mentioned, "try Baja Big Fish, Pam will do what ever you need to have done, fishing, swimming." Do you have guide name to recommend? If so, please let me know!
