Storm hits Punta Chivato And a Little more....

Russ - 7-3-2014 at 06:52 AM

What a beautiful light show we had last night! Once the wind cleared the patio furniture I got up and picked the furniture up and battened down the hatches I enjoyed the chivasco.

this morning at first light everything is calm, cloudy & clean.

Still looks like we are going to have more stormy weather though. The wind just picked up to around 11 mph with thunder and more lightning.

Hope all is well with no leaks or injuries Russ, looks like you got big temp drop too.
You can keep sending the moist air mass this way, it may start our Monsoon

Some homes took some water after last nights storm and just as they dry out we get a little more to get their towels soaked again. I'm dry and feel lucky.
Wondering how the Mulege diversion project is doing.

Nice Wx station!

This afternoon/evening could bring rain to anywhere from San Ignacio south to the Cape. The Pacific side will probably escape it.

Same holds true for my neck of the woods. We already got an inch or more on Wednesday evening. The bug explosion has already started. And, boy, are the lizards ever active in this overcast. They are everywhere!!!
