I'll try to update this thread regularly. Don't know about the runway but I've heard the road is pretty sloppy in places today. Still passable with 2x4. Runway should be okay by Thursday. Remind me and I'll let you know if planes are coming in.
Still cloudy this evening but it hit 90º this afternoon.

My quail family is down to only 4 chicks now.

Unfortunately yes I have to run a generator but the Honda 3000 on the eco mode runs my mini split 10+ hours per tank.

Lots of places for sale now and a lot cheaper than 7 years ago. It's sad but a lot of the original home owners are aging (go figure?) So I'm thinking that a younger, maybe the grand kids of people that brought their babies down, will return and bring a new life to a really wonderful place. We have each found some special things here and to rant on about the few changes I'm aware of probably wouldn't mean much to what you remember here. So..... You'll just have to come back and see for yourself. :light:

My first experience in PC was about '89. Did a week on the beach for about 10 years in a row every summer. I got spoiled a could of years (sorta) when the friend of a friend (someone I introduced to the area) bought and built over by shell beach. As the house got closer to completion we were less welcome. That coincided with the water dispute that seemed to shut down camping for a bit.

Now I'm a bit older with too many responsibilities and irons in the fire. The14 mile washboard road for primitive camping seems a bit too long for my peers. So we keep going to Loreto, as of late. As of late, HELL, I missed the past two Baja trips altogether.

I did get to take my 5 then 6 year old son down two trips. He had a blast in PC. I REALLY hope to get back SOON!

I love seeing your pictures. Keep them coming please.

My fan is my shadow and at night I run the generator and AC. Punta Chivato has an afternoon wind off the water most days and that keeps the temps down and feels better.

Ran the generator & AC mot of yesterday and all night. Tried to cool down the whole casita but only dried it out a bit and lowered the temp a very few degrees.

I was having coffee on our patio this morning and had to put on a long sleeve T-shirt...dont mean to rub it in :tumble:

Daytime temps are around 80 with cool pacific breeze...water is around 74 degrees...perfect for our afternoon swims

Awoke early to some lightning off in the distance and couldn't get back to sleep at 4am. Went thru the morning rituals and now settled in. High wind was 34mph and I never heard it at 3:15. Here's the 1st shot in the eebmike loop and the most resent. Looks like it could have been a goon rain but as happens most often it petered out.
