Had a well dug in the same manner in the 90's on our land over at Cerritos. They had to go 63 feet deep. All by hand. Just amazing. You would never
get me down in that hole!

Watched some fellows hand-dig a well near Todos Santos, much deeper. They encountered a rock the size of the well diameter and couldn't break it up.
They dug sideways into the well and pushed the big rock into the side cavity and kept on digging deeper. Amazing to watch.
