BAJA SUR CUTIE FOR SALE (or rent)...THIS ONE IN BAHIA ASUNCIÓN.

Udo - 7-15-2014 at 06:16 PM

Due to severe illness, Jana and I have decided to offer for sale our beachfront dream:

BAHIA ASUNCIÓN BEACHFRONT HOUSE FOR SALE:
$141,900. Includes many new amenities:
New large load washer/drier
New water softener
Weather station
Upgraded plumbing
New bath faucets
New hot water heater with a re-circulating pump
Lots of new beach/Buffett related decorations

When my wife and I stay, we pic nic on the beach in front of the house. One of the premier surfing location in Baja is called CEDROS BEACH, and that is right outside your front door.
Additionally, there is a very large reef right in front of the house that is ideal for some of the best surf-fishing in Baja. Every morning, there is a wild feeding frenzy caused by larger creatures going after the reef fish.

The house is the "pick of the litter" (to quote a previous renter) of the houses available for rent or sale in Bahia Asunciòn.

It has TWO complete bedrooms and separate baths. One room is decorated in Flip Flops and the other in a Lighthouse theme.

It now also has numerous gourmet kitchen tools and electrics, that would give any decent cook a well equipped repertoire of cooking accessories.

You may bring your ROKU TV, that is internet dependent, but the WI-FI has not been that reliable in town.

We should have a wired phone line to the house, soon. We got our name in the line thanks to Shari's help

The house is fully equipped and all you need to bring are clothes, a toothbrush, toiletries, and some coffee you like to brew. A coffee grinder is there now, for those who like to grind their own beans.
Lots of gourmet cooking utensils and electric appliances. There is even a library of cook books if you need some cooking ideas.
Stunning sunrise and sunset views.
Kayaks available for your use.

We also have a Mexican Corporation that I will throw in at no charge to the prospective buyer.

contact me via U2U or e-mail @ udowinkler@yahoo.com
or call 909-437-8000.
We accept checks, money orders, or paypal payments.

Udo will edit the posting when he can. Thank you for your kind understanding.

He is listing it for sale, and it is still for rent as well. Again, he'll update the posting when he can.

Udo, I am so sorry you are giving up your place.

BajaLuna - 7-15-2014 at 11:37 PM

Udo, sorry to hear you are selling, and that life has thrown you a temporary curve ball, but certainly understand why you are selling. Your health is the most important thing, and although BA and your home there brings you much happiness...happiness can be created anywhere, paradise is where we make it! And the way you and Jana live life to the fullest, no doubt you will make your dreams happen somewhere else that works better for you and your health!

we wish you and Jana all the best!

Udo - 7-16-2014 at 08:33 AM

Thanks Krystal!

I really am sorry this all happened to you as I know you really like BA. But when you are well, you can still visit.

I wish you and Bajaluna the best of luck in selling in a timely fashion.

Meantime get well!

So very, very sorry amigo. I know how much you guys were looking forward to spending a lot of time in Bahia Asuncion. The important thing now is to just focus on getting well. Your health is the most important right now.

The old saying is so true - you don't appreciate good health until you lose it...

Sad news indeed and best of luck with the sale!

Sorry to hear. What is included in the house sale. Furniture? Kayaks? just wondering. Thanks.

Udo - 7-19-2014 at 01:47 PM

The house includes all furnishings, appliances, single kayaks, dishes, etc.
The only items not included are our personal items, such as clothing, binoculars, DVDs, computer, personal tools and hardware in the garage, booze (garage and house).
The garage was used mostly for storage of goods, and therefore those items are considered personal.
I will be throwing in a Mexican corporation with the sale.

so sorry to hear of your recent illness, amigo but sounds like you are now doing ok...hope so.....it might not be this place but wasn't there some talk of a bar/nighclub going in right next door?...or was that another house?...just curious.

Udo - 7-20-2014 at 09:25 AM

When I went to BA in late June, Michael, I had a meeting with the mayor and with the owner of the property next door.
It was fairly obvious that the owner had the mayor in his pocket after the meeting.
However, what came out of the meeting was that the building next door is going to be an events building (i.e. quinceañera, birthdays, etc.) available for rent. Not a cantina, as I was led to believe.
And since only half of the property was being walled in, my view was not going to be in jeopardy. In fact, the area where the wall will be built, will become a wind break for my back yard (I will now be able to use it...it was always very windy back there and back yard activities were severely limited).
