La Perla would be my choice, not so much for the food(which is ok) but for the people watching. They have fresh squeezed OJ. I think I remember a

I am a Virgo, and have been accused of micro-managing trips into oblivion by others ( look up Virgo traits for those not yet in the Age of Aquarius
).
I find that such planning helps me out....but sometimes wrecks the experience because I am in a mind pre-set that disallows me from "being present"
when travelling.
Loosen up a bit, let go of some of your need to control things as suggested by others, and make the trip an adventure rather than roll-call for the

in that case, another option would be The Dock, at Marina de La Paz. great setting watching the docks, food is good, possibly better than La Perla,
but the latter is definitely a classic.
I haven't kept up with the day to day planning but I vaguely remember your asking about driving from the East Cape area to Loreto in one day. if you
are thinking of just stopping in La Paz for breakfast, it won't be quick. just working your way down the malecon is fun, but takes awhile. as does

Better to have breakfast in Loreto as it is a 4 to 5 hour drive to La Paz from Loreto.

I second the Dock, nice atsmophere and not touristy like the malecon. I also second the "take it down a thou" idea. Baja is not the US, planning
