wow, they maintained their calm well...getting lifted up by a big whale can be a rather unnerving experience...but that whale was very calm and gently
lifted them...it's when they start tossing you around that things get crazy.
best advice is not to paddle or approach too close when there are several whales together.

I've had whales rise up under my kayak while they were surface feeding and we were fishing.
Strange sensation...But it was slow and relatively gentle- they were after the fish, not the fishermen!
