Baja Sunset pictures

Opey - 8-20-2014 at 05:11 AM

Hi friends, i'd like to share some photos of the sunset in Baja... Feel free to include your favorites! ;D

There must be a big amount of beautiful places around the world for sharing a warm and relax afternoon but i can't stop thinking about being in Cabo at a balcony enjoying the sunset.

I traveled there in 2012 and had one of the best experiences of my life, never rested so much! The weather was just perfect and the people was very cute and nice to us!

Thanks Igor -- I have lots of orange, yellow and bright red ones, and this is my personal favorite. Glad you like it.

I also really like Ken's Isla Carmen with Venus ---soft and subtle --- beautiful.

I like the blue toning as well Diane.

Thanks Igor and Diane for the comment too. That was a 10 second exposure to get the water silky. Bait were working in the foreground as you can still see. Spending so much time on the Cortez side, sunrises get a lot of attention, sunsets not so much.

thanks Igor...I love this photo too...I have been focusing in on splashes last month seeing as there have been so many...I am fascinated how water looks in the air!

Skipjack Joe - 10-12-2014 at 11:24 AM

I too have taken an interest in moving water recently.

Have you tried using a tripod and shooting with a slow shutter speed, 1/15, 1/30, and 1/8. I don't know how it would look with surf but in rivers these images can sometimes look like expressionist paintings, all swirls and flows around rocks. But when it starts to look like fog - well that really turns me off.
